While the Lightpro Background Support Kit is generally used to hold up backdrops for photography, with a super clamp attached, it can also be used to hold a camera for top-down photography! It is very straightforward to set up - simply set up the two light stands and attach the 4-section crossbar between them, securing it down using the wingnut spigot adaptors. With a maximum height of 4.1m, this kit is ideal for those needing extra height to shoot overhead.

The Lightpro Super Clamp is the perfect rigging solution for mounting lights and other equipment to bars or other types of support systems. In this case, it clamps onto the crossbar of the background support kit, with the Manfrotto mounting plate and ball head attached to the Clamp’s spigot attachment. It is able to fit widths of 13mm up to 55mm, making it ideal for a wide range of different sized bars.

The Manfrotto 208HEX Hexagonal Head Mounting Plate allows you to mount the ball head onto a flat and secure base when attached to the C-Stand. With a spigot mount on the bottom, the plate can easily be attached to the C-Stand, and with a ⅜” thread it allows the ball head for the camera to be attached.

The last piece of the puzzle is the Manfrotto Mini Ball Head. With a ⅜” thread at the bottom, meaning it will easily screw onto the mounting plate. The ball head allows 360 degrees of rotation, giving you flexibility to adjust the camera’s angle without needing to move the whole stand. The head also has an 8kg payload, meaning it is extremely sturdy for it’s size and will hold most cameras.
